not really. when you have a single turbo, all the exhaust gases are going to be pushing 1 turbo. with a twin setup, you have half the amount of gases pushing each turbo.

Not true, one big turbo takes a long time spool up, hence, lag. Two small turbos putting out the same psi (combined) as the big turbo will spool faster giving you power earlier.

that's not necessarily true about the two turbo's spooling faster. With twin turbo each turbo is only spooling on half a cylinder bank. so one large turbo can have more power and spool faster than two smaller turbos, or the opposite (depends on the set-up). - 3 cents

that nissan just too tuff for the honda,and No 1 single big turbo will have more lag then 2 smaller turbos ,more revs to spoil up bigger turbo .Nice nissan though ,nice and clean ,to think that model came out in 1990 .
